Post subject: hollister france What Really Is Motivation
The root of the word motivation is motive. Motive comes from the Greek or Latin words hollister france mob and hollister sale Avocats et mag mot which means "to move." Motivation is about being moved. The first, most obvious way we are moved is emotionally, but little changes if we do not actually move into action!
Those who turn that emotion into action see the results they desire. Those that don't take action seldom see the results they desire. Failing to meet desire with action is like revving the engine of a car hoping it will move but never taking the car out of park.
We wanted to do something different here and we are going hollister to use an excerpt we found from an author named Craig B Larson. He wrote a quick summation story that we feel illustrates a great point:
"Bringing a giraffe into the hollister Le renseignement, une des clés du succès world is a tall order. A baby giraffe falls 10 feet from its mother's womb and usually lands on its back. Within seconds it rolls over and tucks its legs under its body. From this position it considers the world for the first time and shakes off the last vestiges of the birthing fluid from its eyes and ears. Then the mother giraffe rudely introduces its offspring to the reality of life.
In his book, A View from the Zoo, Gary Richmond describes how a newborn giraffe learns its first lesson.
The mother giraffe lowers her head long enough to take a quick hollister look. Then she positions herself directly over her calf. She waits for about a minute, and then she does the most unreasonable thing. She swings her long, pendulous leg outward and kicks her baby, so that it is sent sprawling head over heels.
When it doesn't get up, the violent process is repeated over giuseppe zanotti sneakers and over again. The struggle to rise is momentous. As the baby calf grows tired, the mother kicks it again to stimulate its efforts. Finally, the calf stands for the first time on its wobbly legs.
Then the mother giraffe does the most remarkable thing. She kicks it off its feet again. Why? She wants it to remember how it got up. In the wild, baby giraffes must be able to get up as quickly as possible to stay with the herd, where there is safety. Lions, hyenas, leopards, and wild hunting dogs all enjoy young giraffes, and they'd get it too, if the mother didn't teach her calf to get up quickly and get with it."
Craig has exemplified a great feat that happens every day, to billions of people. We get knocked over. It abercrombie milano happens to all of us, of course, and not just once, but repeatedly. But it isn't about getting knocked down, it's that we get back up again. That is what defines us. Just because we failed, doesn't mean we are failures. We might be down temporarily, but we don't stay down for long.
The baby giraffe is a great metaphor for hollister deutschland motivation. We may not be getting physically kicked to the ground, but we certainly experience emotional "kick downs." That giraffe may have experienced pain, but it had urgency, intuitively knowing that if it didn't get up, it would perish. We are the same. If we don't move forward (follow our motivation), we'll certainly perish. Maybe not physically, but certainly a part of us will lie dormant giuseppe zanotti soldes if we do nothing at all.
There is little to be said about the person who keeps their motivation to themselves and never sends it out to the world through action. All of us have stories we could share about life knocking us down. You have two choices to make about woolrich sito ufficiale these events. You can share them as the victim hollister of a "knockdown"... this is often referred to as complaining or commiserating. The other option is you can share these circumstances as they turn to triumphs. To do this, you must take action upon them... this results in you empowering others.
Don't share just the knockdowns as some do. We are throwing down the gauntlet, and ask you to share your triumphs instead. While you're barbour sale working through your hollister outlet challenges, keep louboutin The Importance of Knowing Your Local Rea them to yourself, but at the other end, shout your louboutin pas cher results from the roof tops! It's empowering to hear the stories of those who've overcome the trials of their lives.
Don't just be motivated, get MOVING!
