Under his direction, The Cavaliers amassed a 78 49 record and won four MIAA "B" Championships with nine straight winning seasons. This year the team moved to the A Conference and made it into the playoffs. <br />But, for almost a year, Coach Whittles has faced his toughest personal challenge stage four, pancreatic cancer. Since his diagnosis in February, Coach Whittles has undergone chemotherapy, but it didn't keep him off the football field. <br />"These kids mean the world to me, I've learned a lot from them. I keep hearing what an inspiration I am. But they're an inspiration to me, too,nike tn officiel, and we kind of feed off each other which is why it's important that I keep coaching," says Coach Whittles who embodies faith and leadership, and truly strives to "MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT!" <br />Distinguished Alumnus Stephen Kelly '79 <br />Not only is Steve Kelly a graduate of Spalding, where he was a well rounded athlete, playing basketball,nike tn requin, lacrosse and soccer, he has been active with the Alumni Association for more than 20 years,nike free run 2 pas cher, served as a Board Member,imitation louboutin pas cher, and watched his three children graduate from his alma mater. <br />"I didn't realize in 1979 how much Spalding would become such a big important part of my life. I would like to thank all of my teachers. I still love to come back to Spalding and see all the great things taking place," said Kelly. <br />Among the activities in which Kelly has been involved are: the design of Spalding's first athletic stadium in 1995, a Board Member from 2003 to 2009 including four years as Treasurer,converse bebe, a member of Spalding's Facility Committee, an active member of the Love Golf Committee, and a strong asset to all building and architectural projects on campus. <br />Outstanding Parent Kevin Kerley <br />Kevin Kerley became an active Spalding parent in 2000 when the first of his three children enrolled at the school. It wasn't long before he joined the Cavalier Club and the very first Spalding Auction Committee.
