Saint Thomas Aquinas in his book Summa Theologica writes that God's existence is independent of time. He exists in infinity, so God's being aware of all things is the result of his transcendence of time. This would certainly raise a question if it were possible for God to become potential, because God as a necessary being should not be dependent of our will. Aquinas studies this issue by approaching the Goodness of God. In God's illimitable goodness, he decides to limit himself and [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] create a world of free beings. God gave us [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] the most significant thing, he allowed us to have freedom in choosing. The fact that God is contingent to us is the consequence of preceding act of God providing us free will. God does not [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] get or lose [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] anything in distributing his love, but we contingent beings [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] get a divine order and justice in the world, where goodness is praised and dissoluteness is condemned.
