Every year when, as soon as February creeps around we all head out to the shops and look for the usual chocolate, wine, flowers and cuddly toys ready for Valentines Day. [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Why not try and surprise your loved one this year and get them something a little different to the usual last minute gift. In the rest of this article we will cover some ideas for different [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] gifts that you can buy this year to make your loved one feel a bit more special.
[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Experience Days - Rather than just giving your [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] loved one a cuddle teddy bear this year, why not take them on an experience day. There is a [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] large variety of experience days available, ranging from wine tasting and romantic hot air balloon rides through to rally driving and sky diving! Regardless of which experience you decide to do with your loved one, one thing is certain, compared to a box of chocolates, cuddly teddy or bottle of wine, the experience day will be far more enjoyable.

Adult Toys - if you don't fancy going out on an experience day, why not spice up your bedroom life a bit by buying some new "toys" for the bedroom. Adults toys can often [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] spice up a rather [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] dull love life. There is a wide range of toys available for couples, ranging from basic items such as hand cuffs and adult outfits through to sex chairs or love dolls. You do not need to worry about the toys being delivered in [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] packaging that will give the gift away. Most adult toy stores deliver your toys in plain, unbranded packaging to as to avoid embarrassment.

Chores - If money is a bit tight this year for any reason, you can still give your loved one a gift that will make them feel special. With unemployement and the cost of living rising, rather than spending money on gifts which arent needed or [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] will be sat on a shelf for the next year or so, you could use this as a cost effective gift that will still show how much your love them. How about promising to do all the chores for the week, or maybe even just for the day? Why not agree to do a set amount of chores, for example how about you do all the cooking for the next few days, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] or you will hoover the house for the next week so that they can rest. Obviously though, you need to do what you have agreed to. It is pointless promising to [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] do these tasks if you do not do [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] any of them or moan about doing them while you are doing them.

Transactional Analysis and Pride States
Transactional Analysis is above all a therapeutic tool with regard [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] to positive change and growth. It can be made use of either in therapy for any individual concerned or for a more surface level with regard to problem solving in [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] reading books.
TA is basically the study of how people handle certain behaviors, either by mistake or from their early caretakers or authority figures and then continue to play them out on their adult lives. It can be a model for people to make use of to work towards 'autonomy', a place from where they can choose to live the way they want to and to never be still acting as if they are controlled as a result of past events or emails.
Transactional Analysis then can be a modern psychotherapy model, containing; it's own particular words and theory of identity. It states that the person transacts with a person using ways, structures [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] their time between life and death within a particular way, plays their own particular games and lives out their own unique script.
An understanding of Transactional Analysis can give hope for the person in that they change their script and choose the way they want to re-write their own personal life plan, without hanging on to inappropriate behaviors of days gone by.
The creator of Transactional [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Analysis Was Eric Berne, a Psychiatrist and a man who was mostly influenced by Freud, though by the time of his passing in 1970, he had become a, in some ways, some sort of critic of Freud. Transactional Analysis though does have its roots in Psycho potent theory.
The personality for Transactional Analysis, for Berne, is based on the recognition of a few quite different ego states, called specifically the Father or mother, Adult and Child.
An ego state for Berne [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] is actually:
'a system of feelings associated with [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] related set of behaviour patterns. '
For example, spontaneous feelings, compliance and rebellion are all features of the child ego state and may be [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] activated by the individual at any time throughout his life.
Berne recognised that a few such ego states ought to be in everyone and that together they comprise the unique individuals Personality.
For Berne the ego states may not be roles but are phenomenological facts.
Each ego state is concerned with what actually happened in the past for that person and that they acted will determine how they act in the here and now. The decisions that they will made then will ascertain the decisions and behaviours they now make in today's.
The Parent Ego Condition
(Case Study An individual)
Bob was the leader of his group of friends therefore was he who always set the time that they should meet, where they should get [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and what they 'should do'. He or she often shook his finger at his friends reprovingly. People in his cir of friends eventually got completely fed up of him and many left the group.
(Case study Two)
Mary and Joan were people and they went everywhere together. When Joan's mother died it [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] was eventually Mary who looked after her and often put her arm available Joan saying such words as 'Don't care about things. I will assist you with all your operate; I love you considerably you know'.
The previously mentioned then, are examples on the controlling parent behaviour and then a nurturing parent behaviour, of the Parent Ego state
This Parent Ego State
The parent ego state contains the attitudes and behaviours that are observed and copied from the individual's caretakers and figures. In other words that spoken and unspoken rules. The "shoulds' and your 'oughts" of life. The individual's early [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] parent is formed in the child from birth to approx five years together with [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] in Transactional Analysis terms is referred to as the parent in the little one or the P1. The complete parent pride state or the P2 is formed relating to the ages of five years to approx twenty years on account of even more external stimuli from them authority of caretaker figures.
When the P2 is actually activated in later lifestyle, the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] person will be acting inside ways that their authority figures will have acted, indeed this may be the model that the individual can have incorporated into his own parent, though it must be noted that each individual will have a different parent ego state and will act in their own unique way.
